Biography

​Nathan Major is a British multi-faceted Singer/Songwriter and multi instrumentalist who has an extensive music industry history and catalogue.

​

He came to prominence as the main songwriter and lead guitarist with a popular Oxfordshire band 'Nation' in the 00's who toured extensively at home and abroad. They played to the British troops in Bosnia as well as playing to large crowds in festivals and were the subject of a TV documentary about their music.

​

Nathan has a number of albums that have streamed in over 100 countries, had 2 songs used in an Anglo/European film and has been played regularly on internet and BBC radio, both local and national stations. Played by such luminaries as Whispering Bob Harris on his BBC Radio 2 show and has been interviewed by and played a live set for Will Gompertz the BBC Arts Editor.

 

 Nathan's latest album 'IRRESPECTIVE OF THE BENEFIT OF TIME' is being released in August 2024.
